NexSync Pty Ltd ('we', 'us', 'our') is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect personal information when you use our website at nexsync.au, our free online tools, or our marketing and technology services. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. By using our website or services, you agree to this policy.
We collect personal information that identifies you, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name and job role, along with the details in any message, form or booking you send us. This includes the answers you enter into our interactive tools, such as the business health check, and the web address you submit to our website audit. We also collect non-personal, technical information when you visit the site, such as your device and browser type, operating system, approximate location and the pages you view.
We collect information in a few ways: directly from you when you complete a form, request a quote, book a call, use one of our online tools or contact us by email or phone; automatically through cookies, analytics tools and server logs as you browse the website; and occasionally from third parties, such as referrals or publicly available business sources, where relevant to providing our services.
We use your information to respond to your enquiries, provide and manage our services, deliver the results of any tool you use and follow up about them, operate and improve our website, personalise and measure our marketing, and meet our legal and record-keeping obligations. We only use your information for the purpose it was collected, a related purpose you would reasonably expect, or where you have consented. We do not sell your personal information.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to keep the website working, remember your preferences, keep the site secure and understand how it is used. This includes analytics and tag management through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and we may use advertising technologies such as the Meta Pixel to measure and improve our campaigns. We rely on trusted third-party providers to run our business and website, and some of them process or store information on our behalf. These include our website host and platform (Webflow), our email, form and customer management tools, our analytics and tag management providers (Google), advertising platforms such as Meta and Google Ads, and Google PageSpeed Insights, which powers part of our website audit tool. Each provider only handles the information needed to perform its service and is expected to protect it.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the trusted providers described above so they can perform services for us, with professional advisers where necessary, or where we are required or authorised to do so by law, such as to comply with a legal obligation or to protect our rights, safety or property.
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including access controls, secure platforms and staff care. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, and then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Some of our third-party providers, including Google, Meta and our website platform, may store or process information on servers located outside Australia. Where your information is handled overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to a standard consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. By using our website and services, you consent to your information being processed in this way.
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to request access to it, and to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date. You may also ask us to delete information we no longer need to hold. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, and we may need to verify your identity first.
With your consent, or where otherwise permitted by law, we may send you marketing communications about our services, offers and insights. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by using that link or by contacting us at hello@nexsync.au. Opting out of marketing does not affect messages we need to send you about a service you are using or an enquiry you have made.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal obligations. The current version will always be on this page, with its version number and the date it was last updated. We encourage you to review it periodically.
